What are tentmakernet representatives? How will tentmakernet support national representatives? About the tentmakernet.com site - are missions motivated people interested in promoting tentmaking in their homelands - are members in good standing of a local assembly of believers in Jesus - should not be planning on going out as tentmakers in the near future - are encouraged to join Tentmakers International Exchange and any other likeminded organization - should have access to email and the internet - will attend an annual conference hosted in turn by member nations - will take an active part in communicating regularly via an automated email group with other representatives - will be offered their own free webpage and email address if required - will translate training materials into their native languages for distribution and website - will promote the training & sending of labourers into the harvest, specifically into unreached areas of the world.
How will tentmakernet support national representatives? - national rep(s) will be visited in their homelands by a recognized representative of a tentmaking organization ie. TIE etc. - national rep(s) will arrange an informal event for the sharing of information and the development of their national tentmaking workgroup during such a visit - national rep(s) will receive the necessary materials and ongoing encouragement - tentmakernet seeks to build a sense of community among national reps and to keep everyone focused on task - tentmakernet will develop into a network of mobilisers committed to promoting tentmaking to advance the Gospel - tentmakernet will not get directly involved with individual tentmakers but will link them with national representatives
About the tentmakernet.com site: - as national reps are added, their contact information and/or website will be linked on the left links bar Links bar at the top of the page - news will be updated frequently to reflect the development of the website and additional features - events will promote upcoming events regardless of country - articles will have missions related stories & publications in the order they are posted - resources will have training materials in English and will be updated regularly. National reps can freely translate & publish these to their national language - links to websites that are tentmaking and missions focused only
