We were the first couple that arrived at the Tentmaking seminar at Mission Fest Toronto. It was a life changing four hours for us. We came back to our local assembly full of excitement. Since we feel our next step should be one of preparation, I have ordered the Working Your Way to the Nations workbook, have inquired about the TEFL course offered through Mission PREP in Toronto and have contacted the representative for the Perspectives Study Program.

I have been suppressing a vision that your seminar in Campbell River exposed. I shared it with another who was at the seminar. I think I was hoping to get a "reality check' kind of response but instead got a "count me in" reply. This is fishing on my part but bear in mind, it was your seminar that released this question in the first place.

Thank you so much for your workshop this morning at Toronto Missionfest.  God has really opened my eyes through your workshop; He made me laugh, He made me cry.

CTN is now officially the tentmaking arm of the EFC (Evangelical Fellowship of Canada)

Your site may be of ongoing interest; I'm the librarian and esl instructor for a Bangkok international school.

The sending agencies page is a good addition! Nice touch to add their logos and weblinks.

Impressive website update, praying God will send many Canadian tentmakers your way. Found you through OpportuniTIEs.

Why is this website so slow to load?

CTN Webservant: We are looking into the slow load process. www.tentmaking.org is being autoforwarded temporarily which could be causing the delay. Stay tuned!

Sounds like Finishers.org has it's work cut out in Canada

ABWE.org website: 1992 - "The number of evangelicals in Canada has remained constant from 1900 to the present; ...the relative percentage of evangelical has plummeted from 25.1% in 1900 to 7.6% today (= 114,000 ev. expats) adherents.com website puts the 1998 number at 9% (=135,000 ev. expats)

Does anyone know what percentage of Canadians are evangelicals? If we knew that, we would have a guestimate on how many of the 1.5 million expats are tentmaker potential. Just curious.

Good job! How about an egroup for us Canucks with a worldview?
Mr.C.

CTN Webservant: Stay tuned, we are working on setting up an eGroup just for Canadians interested in or already doing tentmaking.

So how many of the 1.5 mil are believers?
Dave

Nice to see the website active again! 1.5 million Canadians working abroad? WOW!
